Ronald Lott III, DO

Ronald Lott III is a first-year Internal Medicine resident at the University of Rochester Medical Center/Strong Memorial Hospital. Dr. Lott hails from Portville, NY, a small tight-knit community in Western NY. He attended Houghton College for his undergraduate degree in Biology where he graduated summa cum laude and participated in collegiate baseball for the Highlanders. Dr. Lott obtained his DO from LECOM in Erie, PA, where he was named Student Doctor of the Year in 2023 and graduated in 2024 as an Excellence in Internal Medicine awardee.

Dr. Lott is passionate about medical education and providing high-value, evidence-based care. While at Strong Memorial, he became involved in the Residency Program Evaluation Committee. He has loved his time in Rochester thus far and looks forward to continuing to serve this community.

In his spare time, Ronnie loves attending concerts, traveling, and relaxing with his best friend and wife, Morgan. He also enjoys watching Pittsburgh sports and sharing meals with his brother Cameron and his parents, Ronna and Ron.

Marissa Pierce, MD

Dr. Marissa Pierce is a dedicated first-year pediatric resident at the University of Rochester, where she is building the foundation of her career in medicine with a focus on compassionate and comprehensive pediatric care. Born and raised in Rochester, she has deep roots in the community and is grateful to be serving the families of her hometown.

Marissa began her academic journey at Canisius College in Buffalo, NY, where she earned her undergraduate degree and developed a strong foundation in the sciences and a passion for serving others. She went on to attend Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, PA, where she received her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree and honed her clinical skills through rigorous training and hands-on experience.

As a first-year resident, Marissa is actively exploring the wide spectrum of pediatric care and has found particular enjoyment in primary care, newborn nursery, and emergency medicine. Each rotation has offered her new insights and helped shape her evolving vision for her future role as a pediatrician.

Outside of the hospital, Marissa values balance and connection. She loves curling up with a good book and spending quality time with her two dogs. She also enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking and never misses a chance to cheer on her favorite football team, the Buffalo Bills—especially when watching a game with her husband.

With her strong sense of community, commitment to patient care, and eagerness to grow in her field, Marissa is excited about the journey ahead and the many ways she can make a meaningful difference in the lives of her patients and their families.

Elizabeth Stevens

Elizabeth Stevens grew up in the Rochester area, prior to attending College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA for her undergraduate education.

After graduation, Elizabeth spent a year in Albuquerque, NM with the Jesuit Volunteer Corps where she worked as a Client Advocate for Medicaid at St. Martin’s HopeWorks. It was that year that confirmed Elizabeth’s interest in medicine and social justice work. Elizabeth then returned home to attend the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and pursue a residency in Pediatrics.

Elizabeth is interested in caring for children with complex medical and social needs.

Imani N. Miles, MD

Imani N. Miles, MD was born in New Orleans, LA.

As a child, her grandmother, Pecolia, taught her the importance of serving those in need. She grew up watching her grandmother volunteer her time with church groups and at a local nursing home in the community. Watching her grandmother selflessly serve others is what drew her to the medical field.

Dr. Miles attended Xavier University of Louisiana and received a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biology. While in college, she helped serve those in need in the Greater New Orleans area by setting up community service events with one of the clubs at her college, The Minority Association of Pre-Health Students (MAPS).

After college, she attended the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry and received her Doctor of Medicine. In medical school, she continued to serve those in her community with one of her school's groups, The Student National Medical Association (SNMA) by setting up community service events in the Greater Rochester area. After receiving her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester School of Medicine, she began her residency in a combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics program at the University of Rochester. In her free time she enjoys mentoring medical students, cooking and baking, and spending time with family and friends.
