The Medical Scholarship Fund of Monroe County was developed to award UR and LECOM medical school students with scholarships to help offset tuition costs. Our goal is to decrease debt and to continue encouraging students to consider a rewarding medical career in Rochester, NY.
Our Organization
Since 1970, we have been attracting qualified and deserving candidates to the Rochester medical community with the prospect of offsetting the ever increasing costs associated with the highest levels of medical training.
Partnering with the University of Rochester and now LECOM, we have seen over a hundred graduates benefit from tuition assistance and open doors into Rochester’s vibrant medical community and beyond.
